Community is about creating more value, together. We envision empowering an industrial ecosystem that delivers more customer value by allowing industrial operating companies to securely sharing operational data with their external trusted business partners such as supply chain partners, service providers, analytics companies, equipment vendors, joint ventures, universities, utilities, and government. In this talk, we will take a deeper dive on how industrial operating companies can easily securely share operational data using Communities within AVEVA Data Hub (formerly OSIsoft Cloud Services). We will provide an overview of Community, provide example customer scenarios, and provide a demonstration of how easy it is to share data externally while keeping control over your own data.

Derek Endres is a Sr. Manager of the Product Readiness Guild at AVEVA. The Product Readiness Guild focuses on technically supporting our customers and partners during their adoption of AVEVA s latest products and offerings. Derek joined OSIsoft in 2011 and has previously held roles of Tech Support Escalation Engineer, Sr. Software Developer, and Research Software Engineer. Derek holds a Bachelor s and Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University.

Ryan McErlean
Ryan McErlean is a Sr. Technical Product Manager at AVEVA, currently focused on Data Sharing and Edge Management. Ryan joined OSIsoft in 2009 and has previously held the roles of Sr. Escalation Engineer and Team Lead within OSIsoft's Support organization. In 2018, he moved to the Product team, taking on the role of Product Manager for PI Vision. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
