Proactive instrument maintenance with OSIsoft products
FHR has spent the last year and a half building out tools within the PI System, Asset Framework (AF), and other products to support a maintenance program for our instruments. FHR will present an overview of how the PI System gave us a competitive advantage in our ability to create this monitoring capability and grow it at scale. The tools integrate instrument data from multiple systems into AF, use customized analyses to interpret and assess the data, and then leverage PI Vision to communicate anomalies to the teams who can most efficiently resolve them. The PI System is enabling us to fundamentally shift from a break-fix to a detect-adjust maintenance model, allowing higher instrument availability and more optimized plant operation.
