Mining & Metals Q&A Session - Using AF to Achieve Predictive Maintenance ROI in 6 Months and Enterprise Scale
Starting in the Alcoa Fjar∂aál aluminum plant, Senseye and Alcoa leveraged the organizations enterprise investment in the PI ecosystem to develop and deploy a global-scale Predictive Maintenance (PdM) system applicable to many different asset types and requiring little-to-no maintenance itself, ultimately to help Alcoa to achieve an ROI of less than 6 months with a path to avoiding millions in unplanned downtime.
This talk, delivered by the Alcoa and Senseye will highlight pitfalls and lessons-learned as well as benefits and how the solution can rapidly be taken into other areas of the business by leveraging the work done on the initial rollout and how these lessons can apply to other industries.
