While Performance Equations have been in existence for many years, it does have some limitations such as they only work with PI Points, runs on the same machine as the PI Data Archive competing for resources, etc. With the availability of PI Asset Analytics which removes some of these limitations, users have the option of migrating their PI PE’s over PI Asset Analytics. Brent Bregenzer is a Senior Field Service Engineer at OSIsoft focused primarily on AF Workshops, customer coaching and training, and demos. Prior to OSIsoft, he received degrees in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and The University of Texas at Austin, and spent time in the chemicals, polymers, and semiconductor processing industries.
