How hybrid data infrastructure based on AVEVA PI System empowers utilities for the future
This presentation will demonstrate how the PI Data Infrastructure (PI + AVEVA Data Hub) can take the utilities beyond the existing PI and step into the next level. It will show the utility examples of AVEVA Advanced Analytics for ML/AI to further leveraging the existing PI AF, AF Analytics, Notifications and Event Frames, and ACVS (AVEVA Connect Visualization Services) for AVEVA Data Hub visualization. PI Data Infrastructure is seamlessly integrated with the utility s existing PI investment and development (e.g. condition-based maintenance, etc.) with more flexibility and extensibility utilizing the cloud-based innovative technology to enable advanced algorithms, etc.

Curt Hertler
Curt Hertler has been with AVEVA\OSIsoft for 23 years. He has held various technical roles, all designed to help customers realize the value of their AVEVA PI Systems. Once an OSIsoft customer, he has 19 years of experience in the petroleum refining industry supporting operations from both within the plant and as a shared technical resource. As he digitally transformed, Curt helped establish and lead a global PI practice within BP for the promotion, implementation, and support of PI Systems worldwide. He graduated with a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan
