To obtain real time situational awareness for their energy management program, the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) required the ability to collect, monitor and act on information across a widely distributed portfolio of assets, increasingly managed by a smaller number of people. They needed to handle large-scale data, make sense of it, easily identify significant events, identify underperforming assets, and visualize this insight with minimal training.
Critigen partnered with OSIsoft to develop a web-based solution that integrates Esri mapping and imagery technology with business systems like real property and work order management systems. With this real-time energy monitoring system, USACE can visualize the state of their assets and mitigate high asset to manager ratios, immediately taking users to what needs their attention, and when it's really needed."

Marshall Worthey is a Federal Program Manager for US Army and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) programs at Critigen and the Partner Manager for the OSISoft/Critigen Partner Relationship. He leads federal efforts for Critigen that focus on the integration of real-time data into the Common Installation Picture. He is also currently supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Energy Information Management (EIM) program and the USACE efforts to implement the Enterprise Energy Information Management requirements laid out by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
