In this presentation we will provide a strategic overview of AVEVA s Engineering & Design solutions and how they contribute to providing an overall Digital Twin for continuous improvements during the full lifecycle of the operating facility.
In order to achieve the high degree of contributions it is essential to have seamless interactions between the various disciplines responsible for the continuous evolution of the engineering and design of the facility as well as permanent integrations with both upstream simulation and downstream procurement, construction and general engineering data management activities.
The objective is to deliver highly efficient projects having a significant impact on sustainability, starting in engineering, and further provided during the entire operations of the facility.
We will also share the high-level roadmaps of the Engineering & Design solutions to provide insight into the short to medium delivery expectations for AVEVA s Engineering & Design solutions.

Julien de Beer currently holds the position of Vice President, Engineering & Design Business at AVEVA. He is responsible for the Strategy and P&L for AVEVA s Engineering & Design Business.
Julien joined AVEVA in 2003 and within his tenure at AVEVA, he has helped grow and develop AVEVA s Engineering and Project Execution solutions and processes in various roles, mainly Business Development and Portfolio Management.
Julien is a Mechanical Engineer by education and worked for about 8 years with mechanical engineering analysis and design solutions prior to joining AVEVA.
