The Efficiency Monitoring System (EMS) is an alert system that runs 24/7 in our global PI System. The solution alerts plant operators, analysts and real-time pilots located in a Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) Center when there is a performance anomaly. Each of the seven SIO Centers present worldwide is in charge of the plants' efficiency within its geography. EMS works by comparing the current performance of a plant with the expected performance calculated from historical data. EMS is a global system leveraging a standardized configuration (i.e. standardized Asset Framework templates) to provide a comprehensive and harmonized alert system and drive improvement across the SIO Centers.
