Collecting customer data for futher analysis is a big challenge, moreover in restricted and highly regulated industries like the pharma industry. With Edge Data Store we are using a lightweight, minimal-invasive software solution with standard connectivity possibilities to collect and analyze data directly on the edge. The compatibility to the PI System and AVEVA Data Hub is a important acceptance criteria for our customers. The implementation of EDS enabled us to develop our own application for analyzing machine usage data to ensure high reliablility and availability of machines in critical production phases.
