Roger Ward has worked as a product support engineer at AVEVA for the last 5 years out of the San Leandro office. While he still provides frontline support for all AVEVA's PI products, his interest and area of focus of late has been in the areas of networking and security. As a member of AVEVA's Security Champions team, Roger's passion lies in helping AVEVA's customers understand the 'Why' and the 'How' of keeping PI Systems secure. When he's not working, he enjoys keeping up with the latest news in information security, nerding out about bitcoin, and finding new ways to leverage AI to improve daily living.
