Building on the success of the gas day forecasting solution that was presented at PI World 2019, TC Energy's next innovation is a product that improves the way we collect, analyze, and act on data. This next generation solution enables us to evaluate millions of potential scenarios to create recommendations and forecasts for our operations teams. The core of the solution consists of a more streamlined application framework and improved data flow by integrating the AVEVA pipeline management solution and the PI System with Amazon Web Services. This next generation application framework provides the capability to develop highly scalable, production grade applications. The application has transformed a complex scenario planning process into a one-page, real-time operational summary of the pipeline. This summary includes the past, present and future operational conditions, optimal recommendations and linepack forecasting, thus providing Augmented Intelligence for the pipeline.
