PI Asset Framework, powered by Sigmafine analyses and modelling capabilities, enables more accurate and reliable data for process monitoring, thus improving business decisions and supply chain management. Two main applications will be investigated: Constraining raw data by first principle laws and simultaneously optimizing the instrument error improves KPIs estimation: increased accuracy allows a better management of the assets and more awareness in energy consumption. Use case: ethylbenzene-styrene purification column. Applying tracking Improved estimation of quality at plant feed make expected plant yields available in near-real time and improves supply chain decision making. Use case: aromatic plant. Marco has a background in the simulation of dynamic processes, development of operator training simulators and process engineering with particular expertise in ammonia, methanol, LNG, lime and vacuum technologies. Marco holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and joined Pimsoft in 2014 as a Senior Sigmafine Consultant.
