The goal of the Mill Analytics project at WestRock has been to accelerate the time to actionable insights across the fleet. In this presentation, Project Lead Andre Perez discusses how a focus on the PI Asset Framework foundation has allowed WestRock to drive projects from Descriptive Analytics toward Prescriptive Analytics using the foundational organization of the PI System and 3rd party tools. The process used at WestRock is highlighted. Benefits already realized along the way will also be described, such as spreadsheet replacements and PI ProcessBook display publication, including a Machine Learning algorithm that has already produced cost savings.
