SPS provides key performance metrics or (KPIs), following Industry Standards, to power plant owners, operators, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and other industry stakeholders.
Unique to SPS is our Operational Reliability Analysis Program (ORAP®). ORAP is a powerful database system that allows for the capture of data from global operating power plants (gas, steam, and wind) as well as deep sea blow-out preventers. There is no system in the world that collects power plant data in such a comprehensive way as ORAP.
ORAP is a sophisticated database that has been developed and refined with over 30+ years of experience in the industry. The system contains detailed, reliability performance data that allows our customers to make informed business decisions. Some examples of the information that is provided by ORAP include:

All of this KPI data is delivered through the ORAP Analytics portal, a live, near real-time, Internet based "Business Intelligence" portal. The Portal allows each ORAP participant to drive real measurable productivity benefit and elevate staff knowledge and know-how by freeing up the organization to address issues as opposed to collecting and reporting data.
Through our partnership with OSIsoft, customers are able to leverage all of their plant data to make informed, data-driven decisions. All of the necessary data points are captured and transformed using SPS' transformation logic into time, capacity, and events, then aggregated in the ORAP database so that customers can see not only how they are performing, but also how they stack up against their peer fleet.
